Jim Varner has served as Clerk of Session of The United Presbyterian Church, Hornell, NY (UPC) for 30 years. He has announced that 2026 will be his last year as Clerk of Session. Dr. Earl Packard
Earl has been the Treasurer at the United Presbyterian Church (UPC) for about two years and Director of Music since early 2025. Earl has degrees in Music Education and in Mathematics Education from what is now Commonwealth at Mansfield and a PhD in Mathematics from Tulane University.
