The Community Garden is located at the Hornell YMCA side yard. Our volunteers are always proud when we have a successful season. In 2023 we reached almost 200 pounds of harvested fresh vegetables for our local food pantries. This helps us do our part to address food insecurity in the Hornell area.

It takes volunteers to maintain these 14 beds located in the greenspace next to the YMCA. In 2023 our volunteers included Hornell High School students, the Alfred University Women’s Soccer team with their coach Mr. Craig Yanni along with many others who donated seeds and plants and physical labor.
